Product Description When fifteen-year old Tegen is declared the Star Dancer - the one who will save her people from a terrible evil - she is stunned. Tegen has nothing in common with the mystical druids whose rituals protect her village. She's just a normal girl, not a hero. Then Tegen learns to work real magic with an enchanted silk shawl, and has no choice but to accept her destiny. But there are those who are hell bent on destroying her before she can fulfil the prophecy - and defeat the enemy that threatens her world... About the Author Beth Webb has always been fascinated by myths and legends. After graduating, she lived on a houseboat in Amsterdam and travelled around Europe for three years, then returned to England and worked as a journalist and broadcaster. After the birth of her four children, Beth pursued a career as a writer. She has also spent a great deal of time in schools, libraries and at festivals running creative-arts workshops and working as a performance storyteller. Beth is now a full-time writer. Her research takes her to ancient sites all over the country and she is an expert on British folklore. She lives in Somerset, a stone's throw from Glastonbury Tor, and is currently working on FIRE DREAMER, the sequel to STAR DANCER.
