About the Author
Rod McBride is a psychologist with over 25 years' experience assisting individuals and couples in a wide variety of settings. He spent eight years as a clinical psychologist in Community Health, providing support to couples and families. He recently completed a six-year consultancy providing psychological support to international employees and their families. He has been awarded by the Government of Australia with the Medal of the Order of Australia for his work with survivors and families following the Bali bombing and the Humanitarian Overseas Service Medal for his support to survivors and their families following the Asian tsunami crisis.
