These clear and accessible new 'Success' titles from Letts Educational cover the 2006 Gateway Science specification for all exam boards - AQA, Edexcel and OCR. Letts carried out focus groups with teachers and students to develop this format and content style. With their help, we refined all the elements of these books to meet their needs and requirements until the feedback was a 100 per cent agreeing that they would purchase and recommend the new 'Success Guides'. The content emphasises the shift from fact learning to investigating and understanding how science works, making it more exciting, up-to-date and relevant to everyday life. The text is laid out in 'sound bite' boxes to aid recollection, with clearly labelled diagrams to add visual clarity and further demonstrate the subject matter.
